I have been to the Iron Road 3 times seeing, Lioness, Jam’d and Hi on Maiden & Saxonized, brilliant venue with very friendly staff happy to help where needed. Last night I got to try the food, well I wasn’t disappointed there either. Tasted great and looked as good as it tasted. Going again in September to the Britpop evening, looking forward to it, hope there doing food that night as want to try one of the other burgers next time. - Frankie March

Great live music venue. Seen hundreds and hundreds of bands live in hundteds of venues over many years but never been here before. But it won’t be the last visit. Great sound for a small venue and the Halloween theme suited the night really well. Apologies to the bar staff and management for the mess we left! - Colin Mason

Great venue for small gigs, warm welcome on arrival, friendly bar staff, and a great food menu (burgers with a difference ‘fillings’ and a cheesecake menu to die for) which I can’t wait to try on my next visit, would highly recommend going here and look forward to my return. - John Bigjohn Day
Was excited and nervous to see the new iron road, I need not have been nervous, still a great sound, great venue and great beer. It’s the same iron road in a new setting. It’s what a venue should be. - Carl Sampson
